INTRO TO CLASSICAL PILATES – Classical Pilates covers only the actual exercises that Mr. Pilates created. They are beautifully clear with shots from one action to the next. In this 55 min class, you will be carefully instructed into a more integrated movement utilizing Mr. Pilates original foundation.
POWER PILATES – This class is an intense and continuous workout utilizing the Reformer. It’s a high energy class designed to get you in, work you out and leave you feeling strong and refreshed. It’s only 45 minutes, so come prepared to move and groove!
REFORMER – This class is designed with your specific needs in mind. It will improve strength, coordination, flexibility, balance and stability. It provides resistance with a series of springs and ropes. Adding small props such as rings, rollers and balls, you will develop strength and flexibility all in one class. Space is limited to 4 students. This enables our instructor to correct and modify for all fitness levels and ages.
CIRCUIT CLASS – Pilates Circuit classes offer a full body workout focusing on strength and interval training, along with plyometric exercises utilizing the entire body. It’s a fast pace class using the Reformer, Chair, Bosu, weights and other props. During the duration of the class, there will be three rounds of 1 ½ min to 3 min sets using all equipment, then rotating to another station. It’s like playing a game of musical chairs, Pilates style! This class will increase your strength and aerobic fitness while burning lots of calories. Gym shoes are required.
JUMPBOARD/EXPANSION – This innovative full body workout consists of a continuous flow of Pilates exercises conducted on the reformer with the Jump board attachment. Fluid transitions, coupled with interval jumping, results in an increased heart rate that is optimal for burning calories and building lean muscle. This portion of class will be 40 min followed by a 15 min unique blend of joint-friendly, core strengthening stretches.
